Hey all,
I wanted to write about my buddy Nick Tessieri. He is a talented producer/engineer/musician and a fellow graduate of Loyola Marymount class 09′. I spent a lot of time in the studio with him this past semester and it was a great experience. During our sessions we recorded the track “Snow Angels” which is featured on my album “the Next Draft.” We also did a version of “1934”, “We were Alive” and another unnamed track. You probably haven’t heard these tracks quite yet, but you will soon. The songs themselves I feel are some of my finest work and Nick was great at capturing to mood and groove of the songs. Here is a sample of one of his jamzzz.

Howdy,
Just got back from a giant road trip from LA to Washington state to see the Sasquatch Festival. My body is a bit contorted because I always seem to get stuck sitting in the middle of the back seat between two galoots for a couple thousand miles, but it was a blast. The best act at the festival in my opinion was Bon Iver. If you don’t have his cd “For Emma, Forever ago” you should get it because its great. And while I wasn’t expecting the live performance to be all that great (his voice is a very delicate falsetto on the album and i figured it wouldn’t translate live), but it was the most moving performance i saw. Huge sound came from two drummers, two guitarists and piano. The harmonies were huge and during the song “Wolves” the whole crowd was chanting “What might have been lost” over and over until the lead singer ushered the crowd in a rabid screams. It was beautiful. See them if you can.
Now i’m back in Sedona for a few weeks, recharging while i decide what to do with my life. Trying to write as many songs as i can, and have fun recording some tracks. My buddy Christian Filardo of Panda Steps in Chocolate () is coming up in a bit and we’re going to get weird in the Studio. Our collaboration is called “Slam Dunk Super Duo”. I’ll post any songs we come up with.

Howdy folks,
I am officially unemployed. Graduation was great, and have been relishing my last days of being near the beach. But in celebration, i’ve decided to give away half of my LP, “The Next Draft” as an EP entitled “The Words EP.” Its completely free and I’d love to share it with you so please download and enjoy them. I will be releasing a few more small EPs in the next few months too so check back regularly for some fresh tracks. A recorded version of my song “1934” has been recorded and will be put up soon.
I’m heading to Sasquatch music festival day after tomorrow. I can’t wait. I’m going to buy ten pounds of M&Ms and some capri-sun and I’ll be ready to go. Check back for photos of my adventures.
